flash could have been avoided in this foto... the subject is interesting.. but the fine lines all around it are not visible because of the shadow... try clicking this in ambient light.. take it out.. and let it rest on the edge of a balcony... when sun rays fall on it..
agreed with prashant but try it in early morning...which sun rays are at angle....

one thing i'll like to add is that background is important in everypic and in this pic that could have been better
i'd also clicked a clock's pic, check it out on my blog sometime
